Iain Muirhead makes complex things run.

Not in a way that draws attention to itself.

In a way that allows everything else to work.

At Strategy Muse, Iain serves as Vice President of Operations, overseeing the firm’s finances, operations, and infrastructure. He helps a network of independent entrepreneurs function as a cohesive, integrated team—ensuring the business runs smoothly and clients are supported in ways that are often invisible, but essential.

Iain has spent his career building organizations from the ground up. He co-founded and led NFA Space, an art services and exhibition company that grew into a global partner for art fairs, museums, galleries, and collectors. Over time, the business expanded across multiple locations and teams, requiring the operational discipline and decision-making that comes with scaling something real.

Earlier in his career, he led operations for the City of Chicago’s Gallery 37 program, managing the logistics behind a large-scale arts education and workforce initiative for young people across the city. He co-founded the SITE program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, helping establish a platform for emerging artists to exhibit and experiment with their work.

Outside of his work in operations, Iain is a visual artist whose work has been exhibited across the United States.

That combination—entrepreneur, operator, builder, and artist—shapes how he works today. He pays close attention to how things come together—and makes sure they do.
