Norah Lally believes people don’t connect to strategy. They connect to stories. Stories that help them understand what’s happening, why it matters, and where they fit.

That belief shapes how she approaches her work.

Norah helps organizations build communication from the inside out, creating the channels, rhythms, and narratives that make it easier for people to stay aligned and move in the same direction. She has a knack for taking complex ideas and turning them into something people can follow, remember, and act on.

Over more than 15 years, Norah has worked with leaders across industries to build and strengthen communications functions from the ground up. Her experience spans organizations including Jacobs, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, the University of Southern California, and T-Mobile, where she has led initiatives that reach tens of thousands of employees and bring clarity to moments of change.

At Strategy Muse, Norah has partnered with a global engineering firm to help reposition its IT function from a support role to a driver of digital transformation. By reshaping how the story was told and how teams stayed connected, her work helped unlock significant cost savings and productivity gains.

She’s known for making complex work feel clear and human. It’s the same instinct behind her work as a published author and screenwriter, including her award-winning novel Back to Bainbridge—a reminder that the right story doesn’t just inform people, it stays with them.
